In collaboration with our university's Burdur Development Center, officials from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) visited our university to examine our work in the field of livestock and discussed projects to be carried out on the importance of women's employment in social contribution.

Officials from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) made a working visit to examine the studies in the field of animal husbandry of our university on site. Discussions were held about the projects to be carried out with the support of FAO. During the visit, FAO representatives Özcan Türkoğlu, Çağatay Çebi and Yunus Arzık were accompanied by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner, Burdur Development Center Director Dr. Lecturer Mehmet Öcal and related academics.
One of the most important issues of the visit was women's employment. In the discussions where the importance of Rural Development was discussed, issues such as ensuring the active participation of women living in rural areas, who have low living conditions and quality, economically disadvantaged, in social and economic life, improving their vocational training levels and production opportunities, and making animal production continuous were discussed.
